Bonding with Daddy

Sylvia is 2 months old and is now taking a bottle.  I've never been big on giving bottles.  Breast feeding is just so much easier, plus there's no dishes to wash and sanitize afterward.  But, it's probably a good idea to get her used to it, especially with Adam and Camille's wedding coming up.  Just in case she gets hungry during the ceremony. It's going to be pretty difficult nursing in a bridesmaid dress!
The past two months have gone so fast and she has changed so much.  She has started smiling and cooing.  I wish I could spend all day staring at her and holding her.  I know she is going to grow up way to fast and I am going to be left wondering where the time went.

Happy Easter

This Easter we celebrated at home with just the five of us.  It was a quiet but special weekend.  Jarod and I got to go to our favorite mass, the Easter vigil.  This mass was part of our first date 9 years ago.  I always love going to this mass and remembering the night we met.  On Easter Sunday we took the kids to the 10:00 mass and spent the day relaxing and just enjoying being together as a family.

We went out to lunch, washed cars, went for a walk, and soaked up the sunshine.

Before dinner, we had a little Easter egg hunt that led to their Easter baskets.  Andrew exclaimed "Happy Easter" with every egg he picked up!
I have a small confession...in their Easter baskets this year they each got a new movie and train, but then I filled the rest with things from around the house!  They are still young enough that they didn't realize the toys and books came from the toy box in the basement.  I did the same thing with their St. Nicholas Stockings!

The week before, we had an Easter egg hunt at Grandpa and Grandma Kastls.  The four boys had a good time searching for the eggs and eating lots of chocolate!
